Cawang Residents Cleaned Mud after Flood

Residents of RT 10, 11 and 12 Cawang Urban Village, Kramat Jati, East Jakarta started to clean mud and trash after flood, Thursday (3/10).

Aris (49), one of local residents, admitted mud thickness could reach 10-15 cm if neglected. Residents’ motorcycles also unable to pass the road due to mud.

Residents held communal work since no PPSU personnel ready to join.

“We try to clean the road post flood. Water starts to recede,” he said.

Other residents hoped local urban village side to send PPSU personnel to transport the mud and trash.
